E-commerce Content, Brand and Sales Manager.

 

Imli is seeking someone who is driven, has initiative, enjoys working in a creative industry, can handle a wide range of responsibilities, and is savvy in digital marketing and how to drive sales.

This person would be responsible for the following:


WEBSITE: Overall look and layout of the website; handling regular updates and changes to the site, inventory uploads when new shipments arrive, etc.

DIGITAL MARKETING: Creating and executing a digital marketing plan for the brand on all digital platforms – Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, eblasts to subscribers through the website, and any other channels that make sense to drive sales.

SALES: Organizing and managing “pop-ups” throughout the year, getting into retailers, forming strategic partnerships with other brands, sales promotions with digital and print publications, etc. coordinating Designer Packages to be sent to designers to push sales through this channel.

PHOTOGRAPHY AND DIGITAL CONTENT: Assisting when and where the content shoots take place, hiring models/photographers, booking venues and coming up with overall look and feel of the shoots.

TIME COMMITMENT: This is a part time position that works out to about 2 days a week. It is suited to someone who is an independent contractor and has other jobs; a mother with young children looking for a part a time gig; or someone who wants the flexibility of a part time job.

At the start, there will be more of a time commitment required as the person gets up to speed on the brand, products and develops the digital marketing campaign.
When inventory comes in from India (usually every 3 months or so) there is more of a time commitment needed as inventory must be sorted, checked and uploaded onto the website, as well as photographed. We usually like to run promotions around new shipments and during holidays like Christmas and Black Friday. When we are not running promotions, the person would be focused on new business opportunities, developing relationships with vendors and initiating ideas around expanding into new markets.

COMPENSATION:  Compensation will be commensurate with experience and will be discussed on an individual basis.
